• Ernie & Sue Parker- Senior Pastors

    Ernie & Sue:
    Pastor Ernie Parker was born in Houston, Texas. He was called into the ministry at the age of 14 while living in New Caney, Texas. As a teenager he headed the youth ministry and taught Sunday school in the church he attended with his family. In 1969, he married Sue Harp and became pastor of Shepherd Assembly of God in Shepherd, Texas in the same year. Pastor and Sue Parker later served as pastors of churches in Willis, Houston and Cleveland, Texas. In 1988 they were elected as pastors of Plum Grove Assembly, where they continue to serve today.Under their leadership the church has grown and become a vital part of the Splendora –Plum Grove area. A worship center was completed in 1993 and a family life center in 2002. Pastor Parker continues to preach with anointing and lead the congregation at Plum Grove Assembly with a vision to affect the world with the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit.   • Justin & Laura Hebert - Children's Ministries

    Justin & Laura:
    Justin and Laura have been married for 5 months and have a heart for ministry to children. They work together to provide a safe and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus. Laura has been in ministry at Plum Grove Assembly for three years and is looking forward to many more to come. Collectively, Laura has been in family ministry for eleven years, has three years of college experience studying biblical theology, pastoral ministries and family counseling. Her family history in ministry has created a solid foundation of knowledge of God’s word and how to share it with others. Laura was raised in Assembly of God Churches and traveled and ministered with her family through music for most of her childhood. Justin and Laura were both raised in Tarkington Texas and have a love for this area and the people here. “Through working with children, God is teaching us how our future can be affected and molded. The eyes of a child show the heart of God.” – Justin Hebert  Justin and Laura are excited about all that God has done for them and are hopeful for a bright and shining future.
